Generation AI is an initiative exploring the role of artificial intelligence in shaping the lives of children and young people. We address challenges like ethical AI design, responsible technology use, and global policy frameworks to generate actionable solutions that support children's flourishing in an AI-driven world.
At our Generation AI: The Future of Technology & Young People Symposium, we brought together world-class scholars, policymakers, funders, and entrepreneurs to ensure AI contributes positively to young people's futures. The event featured 'Big Ideas' for practical action, highlighted start-ups working at the intersection of AI and youth, and launched a new Technology & Ethics Design Programme. Key speakers included Baroness Kidron OBE, Sir Anthony Seldon, and Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore, alongside young participants who shared their perspectives on AI. We are also launching a masterclass workshop series in collaboration with leading researcher Jun Zhao to bridge academic and industry innovation - more details coming soon.
